Will these actually hold, or do they slide off once there's weight on them?

That's the problem with the flimsy ones — thin plastic bends and the hook slips down the hanger neck. HUSTRX is moulded from reinforced plastic with a shaped groove that grips the hanger instead of sliding on it, so it stays put with jackets, denim and heavy knits on it. Set it once and it doesn't move.

Will they fit my hangers?

Almost certainly. The hook is designed around the neck of standard hangers — wooden, plastic and wire all work. If yours are unusually thick or an odd shape, it's worth checking first, but for the vast majority of wardrobes these clip straight on to what you already own.

Won't my clothes get crushed hanging that close together?

No — the hook drops the second hanger low enough that garments hang free instead of pressing against each other. If anything you'll get less creasing than you had before, because your clothes aren't being squeezed shoulder to shoulder along a packed rail.

Why not just buy slim hangers instead?
